Biography
Passionate and animal lover since childhood, I completed my doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1998 at Ross University School of Medicine, in the Caribbean, more precisely in St. Kitts. I completed my college career at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. From 1999 to 2003, I continued my studies by completing a one-year internship in medicine and general surgery at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, then working in New York until 2003. Originally from Sherbrooke and dear to my heart, I returned to Quebec in 2003 and joined the team at the Vieux Village Veterinary Clinic, from 2003 to 2023.
My favorite sports activities and hobbies are yoga, cross-country skiing, swimming as well as piano and cinema. My family is made up of her spouse, Stéphane; her two sons, Eloi and Ulysse and her gray female cat Simone.
Concerned and eager to be able to offer better well-being and comfort to my patients, I decided to broaden my knowledge by discovering complementary medicine. I completed my first training in veterinary acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005. Five years later, I completed my training in Chinese Herbal Medicine. From 2022-2023, I undertook a 2-year training course in veterinary osteopathy at the Institute of Alternative Medicine and Veterinary Osteopathy (IMAOV).
Having these three modalities as well as integrative medicine at heart, I am now working as a self-employed veterinarian since 2024 offering my animal patients alternative medicine focused on Traditional Chinese Medicine, authentic and honest in my image and who I am.
